The last Wednesday of every month culminates with the Musician/Songwriter Workshop hosted by Local 257 member Dave Abdo at Cooper Hall! In this workshop, you'll watch and listen as musicans and songwriters alike come in with rough demos of songs they're working on and Dave, along with the house band, transform that demo into a fully fleshed out track!

"This great networking opportunity and creative experience is open to AFM 257 members and non-members. Whether you're new to Nashville or an established Music City veteren, this monthly session is a great hang - and much more! You'll work up new songs as part of a "session band," the way Nashville pros have done it for decades, adding your ideas to make an arrangement that ready to "roll tape" - only we're not taping! Experienced hands get to exercise those creative muscles, new folks can see how it's done, then join in. Great for songwriters, too; hear your latest "write" go from a solo workj tape to a fully-realized arrangement.
