Andrés Felipe Silva Gómez is a Chilean drummer, producer, and musical director with an international career spanning over three decades. Educated at Berklee College of Music’s partner institution, the Conservatório Souza Lima in Brazil, Silva has performed and recorded extensively across Latin America, Europe, and the United States. His collaborations include prominent artists such as Mon Laferte, Javiera Mena, Douglas, María José Quintanilla, Quique Neira, and Morgan Myles, among many others. Over the years, he has been endorsed by leading music brands including Pearl, Vic Firth, Turkish Cymbals, and Aquarian Drumheads.
As a performer, Silva has played in major festivals and events such as Viña del Mar, Vive Latino, CMA Fest, and the Houston Rodeo, touring throughout more than 40 U.S. states and multiple countries worldwide. His live experience encompasses a wide range of genres—from pop and reggae to rock and country—cementing his reputation as one of Chile’s most versatile and internationally active drummers. He has also served as musical director for several renowned artists and television productions.
Beyond performance, Silva is an accomplished producer and recording engineer, having founded La Shola Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. There, he has recorded and produced for numerous international acts including Morgan Myles, Mark Mackay, Savannah Rae, Hobo Cane and Silver Oakes. His work has appeared in television, film soundtracks, and live broadcast performances, showcasing a career defined by technical excellence, artistic versatility, and global reach.
