Resume / Bio:
Andrew Sovine is a seasoned music director, producer, and multi-instrumentalist with extensive experience in live performance, studio production, and touring. From 2011 to 2017, Andrew toured extensively with Grammy Award-winning artist Ashley McBryde as Tour Manager and Band Leader. He directed logistics for national tours while providing musical leadership on stage, balancing operational management with creative excellence. His work with Ashley McBryde has garnered multiple grammy nominations. Additional live leadership roles include work with Ian Noe, Jaime Wyatt, and Resurrection Brooklyn in New York, where he curated music, led rehearsals, and recruited top talent.
As owner and operator of Back Room Record Studios since 2019, Andrew has produced, engineered, and arranged projects across diverse genres, managing every stage of the process from session planning to final mastering. He also provides instrumental support, bringing versatility and depth to the artists he collaborates with.
Since 2021, he has served as Music Director for the Victory North Annual Benefit Concert in Savannah, GA, where he leads a 10-piece house band supporting up to 20 vocalists. In this role, he oversees arrangements, prepares charts, conducts rehearsals, and coordinates with production teams and engineers to deliver seamless, high-level performances. In 2024, Andrew was appointed to the Community Advisory Board of the Savannah Music Collective.
As a session and backing musician, Andrew has worked with artists such as Leigh Nash, Hannah Dasher, Emily West, and the Denver and Dallas Symphony Orchestras. His compositions have been featured in media, including the series Tripwire and the documentary The Day That Shook Georgia.
With a career spanning performance, production, and leadership, Andrew brings expertise, professionalism, and creativity to every project.
