Resume / Bio:
Currently located in Nashville, TN, Dusty moved from the Buffalo NY area with a strong desire to be among some of the best players this Nation has to offer. Recognizing that in order to move forward in his career as a Freelance Musician, he would need to make the move to grow his network to learn from and contribute to those around him.
Dusty was raised of humble roots in a small town called Basom, NY. Starting at an early age of 3, Dusty was gifted with a talent for music and a passion to match. He has grown to become a serious contender as a Keyboard and Hammond B3 player in the genres of Country, Blues, Christian Contemporary, and Classic Rock.
Dusty has worked with many artists of all levels doing sessions and/or live gigs around these great United States of America. Some of these great artists are Larry Bagby, Stony Run, Michael Peterson, Tommy Cash, Donnie Miller, Scott Partridge, Doug Yeomans, Bobby Carmichael, Valerian Ruminski, Joe Walker, Dave Dalgado, The Patty Parks Band, The Border City Blues Band, Craig Wilkins, Julie Dunlap, The Lonestar Texas Swing Band, Adam Pope, Matt Walker, Josie Waverly, Brooke Yaiser, Ps100, and many others.
Playing with these bands has given Dusty the experience of opening for acts such as Dallas Holmes, Billy Ray Cyrus, Loretta Lynn, Yankee Grey, Lonestar, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Jessica Andrews, and Randy Travis.
Dusty has won many awards for his outstanding performances while he was going through childhood doing competitions that go from the local to the national level. In 1995 he concluded his talent competition days performing a God-given arrangement of the hymn “How Great Thou Art”, where he took home 2nd place in Nationals; 1st place that year went to a trio of virtuoso violinists who did the extraordinary with their instruments.
“I am very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to be called to play with the great acts and artists that I have,” Dusty says. “The exposure to the different styles and genres of Music has inspired me to be creative with my own styling. It is not often when one is given such rich opportunities to do the things he or she most loves to do, and at the same time increase one’s self at it. I thank my Lord Jesus Christ for the talents and the opportunities he has given me.”
