John McAndrew’s music has been heard around the world, and at many National Events. While touring at Performing Arts Centers, and Venues around the US, he has also performed for and worked with Recovery audiences for over 30 years. John has performed with or for:
Eric Clpaton, Vince Gil, Reba McKintire, Eric Gales, Celtic Women,Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Maynard Ferguson,The Swampers, Kathy Mattea, Denny Seiwell of Wings, Lance Lopez, Fernando Perdomo, Geno Vinelli.
John’s CD, “Forgiven” released in 2016, was in Grammy Consideration three times in the Roots Gospel Category. His CD project “Souls”on WBA Records released in 2019 was in Grammy consideration in the Americanna Category.
His music is in several feature films including,"One Little Red Wagon” directed by David Anspaugh, as well as “Jakes Corner” starring Richard Tyson, Danny Trejo and Dianne Ladd and “Jesus Mary and Joey” starring Jennifer Espisito, Stacy Keacch and Olymia Dukakis, and several others. John’s song,”Down on Birmingham” plays in the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, and has been featured in many Civil rights events.
John co-hosted along with WestBridge CEO Mary Woods the “One Hour at a Time” Radio Show on “Voice of America” for several years. John has been a contributor to the US Journal of Science, writing articles on the benefits of Music in Recovery and healing.
John”s newest album, “Better Side of Me ”produced by famed “Wings” drummer Denny Seiwell, is soon to be released on Quarto Valley Records.
